Dr. Hallie Batschelet, PhD

former PHD Student

About me

Since September 2016, Hallie has been doing her PhD in a large multicenter, randomized-controlled double-blind study titled “Learning to resist the urge: Inhibition training in abstinent patients with alcohol use disorders”. Its main objective is to investigate whether a computerized program aiming to increase inhibitory control leads to a better therapy outcome in patients with alcohol use disorders. Data collection is ongoing and will presumably continue until the end of 2018, and Hallie expects to finish her PhD by the end of 2019.
