About me

Supporting children and adolescents in their development has always been my professional goal, which led me to study psychology. During my studies, I discovered a deep interest in research and worked as a research assistant in various projects. After completing my degrees, I took the challenge of managing a project that evaluated workshops to prevent radicalization in schools. Now, at the university clinic of child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy, I have found a place where I can combine my two main interests – research and working directly with young people. My current research focuses on understanding and addressing suicidality in adolescents. I am particularly interested in evaluating innovative treatment methods, such as AdoASSIP – a short-term intervention for adolescents after a suicide attempt. Additionally, I aim to identify early indicatiors of suicide risk, enabling parents, teachers, and other caregivers to intervene before a suicidal crisis occurs.
