About me
I am a PhD student at the University Hospital of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in the research group of Prof. Michael Kaess and Dr. Marialuisa Cavelti. As part of my doctoral studies, I am working on weight-related stress reactions in adolescents suffering from Anorexia Nervosa. In our project (WASA-Weight Associated Stress in Anorexia; study coordinator: Dr. Armita Tschitsaz), we will investigate weight-related stress responses using questionnaires and biophysiological markers such as cortisol or heart rate variability. My primary research interest is in the cognitive-affective and behavioral pathways involved in the development and maintenance of eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, and anxiety disorders. In addition, I find it very intriguing to examine potential factors that may influence treatment success, especially in severe eating disorders.
