Overview
The interests of our group focus on the neural correlates of the emerging states of the psychopathology of psychoses and where they are structurally based on.
We hypothesize a particular dysregulation between the neural correlates of pre-reflective and reflective self-awareness, which is crucial for the psychopathological transitions, leading to the emergence of psychotic symptoms, e.g. thoughts aloud, thought echo, ego-disorders, and auditory verbal hallucinations (AVH) (which imply both loss of ‘ownership’ and loss of ‘agency’).
