Neurophysiology & Psychotherapy
We are interested in the neurophysiological foundation of psychotherapeutically relevant constructs. On the one hand, we thus investigate neurophysiological alterations in relation to psychiatric disorders (with a special focus on alcohol use disorders) and constructs with transdiagnostic relevance (such as emotional processing, motivational incongruence or inhibitory capacities). On the other hand we investigate the modifiability of these alterations through psychotherapeutic interventions or computerized trainings.
